It is with great pleasure that we write here that The Wash are again an actual Cricket Club, playing real outdoor cricket on a pitch, in sunny weather, with all attendant familiar sounds of leather on willow and Stu Marsh swearing is head off.
The Wash recorded a narrow loss to Crouch End CC on their other ground in Finchley, and new Skipper Creed did a fabulous job marshalling the troops. Unfortunately, we dropped a few catches and let CECC amass a formidable 241, which looked beyond us but for a sparkling partnership between Nick and Max, the latter scoring his first 50 for the club... 89 in fact!!

Well done to all involved, and please all keep staying safe and look out for more emails on upcoming fixtures.
