With only vague memories of Christmas dinners and New Years celebrations, the Washington CC have ambled out for a very early start to get the 2020 Net sessions underway. WE were a bit rusty, but there was plenty of enthusiasm! Plenty of sessions coming up in the coming weeks, so check out the training page for times.
We hope to see you there!

Everyone loves a good beer mat. At least here at Wash CC HQ we do, although we will like them more once we are through Dry-January. The new Washington Cricket Club logo has now been emblazoned and immortalised on new proper beer mats. How cool is that?! So, pay your club membership fees and besides the regular benefits of getting a club shirt and selection priority for fixtures, you'll also receive some Wash branded beer mats too. We are happy to confirm that we have been able to secure regular nets at the MCC Cricket academy at Lord's for another year. However, please note that due to a bit of a mix up at Lord's, we do not have a regular slot - not so unusual actually - and we don't always have our preferred slot, which means there are a number of early starts (8am on Saturday's) and one later one (at 6pm) so do please look at the timings carefully. We will continue check to see if there are any cancellations so we can change some of the timings. I hope you can come along to the sessions as they are an important part of our preparations for the new season. As we approach the first net session, there will be a further message from the club email account, but do put the dates in your diary and feel free to message the club address as an indication of availability. The first session will be on Saturday 25 January from 8am to 9am. We can accommodate a maximum of 12 people and will have 2 nets. The cost will be £10 as usual. Please make sure to wear whites and no spikes. All following sessions are on Saturdays, and they can be found here. Address: Lord's Cricket Club St John's Wood Road St John's Wood London, NW8 8QN |
