About the Washington Cricket Club
The Washington CC was established in 1973. For the least 50 years we've played good quality non-league cricket embracing a wide range of abilities at great venues all around London and surrounding counties. Every year we train pre-season at Lords and travel abroad for an end of season tour; there's also an active social programme. You can find this season's fixtures in the Fixtures & Results tab above. Annual subs are just £50, plus a £10 per game match fee, so if you're keen to play some cricket and meet a whole boatload of friendly, cricket-loving people, get in touch! The Washington Cricket Club: the best Social Cricket Club in London Our spiritual home is at The Washington Pub in Belsize Park. It was at this very pub that the club was founded and is the place where you can often find us after matches and for our regular committee meetings. We have regular social events and you can discover more through our club news page. The Washington 'On Tour' At the end of each season, we like to travel abroad for a long weekend to play friendly games against like-minded oppositions in still warm end of season climates. In 2022 we jetted off to Malta; In 2024) we went to Ibiza. and in 2025 jetted off to Corfu. This October we will be going to Split in Croatia. And since we are the best social cricket club in London, wives, partners and children are always welcome to come along! |

Training & Pre Season
We have nets pre-season at Lords Cricket Ground and during the season
at Paddington Recreation Ground. Keep an eye out for notices. All current players and new recruits are welcome! Winter nets normally run from late January to April.
Dates and times are posted on the Tours and Training page and circulated on the Wash Banter & Bull WhatsApp group. For afters, there's a strong possibility we'll head back to the Wash for a few drinks so please make sure to allow for that! |
