Well... first blog post in a while... After a mixed start to the season, the middle section and peak summer months are bearing out to be just about perfect for The Wash. We're handling the hot conditions brilliantly and with major contributions from experienced Washmen and many newer members - fantastic to see so many new faces filling the ranks - the results are coming and there are many smiling faces and good energy around the club. We've also had some great crowds and good support at several games, and so if you can't play but you can get out and watch for a bit please do. It's fantastic to see supporters cheering the Wash on. And here's a very important note... you will all likely know that after our upcoming tour to Malta in October (can't wait for that), 2023 is just around the corner. This will be a significant year in Wash history! YES - it will be THE BIG 5 & 0 for The Washington CC. Lots of notifications coming out real soon through email and WhatsApp so stay tuned an we look forward to seeing lots of faithful Wash enthusiasts in 2023 to celebrate this important milestone in the life of the Washington Cricket Club.
