2021 - Here we come!

After a long cold winter, the Washington CC are preparing for another new season, and we are all heartily embracing some recent good news, which says that outdoor training is likely to be possible just in time for our season to start.  Massive high fives all round on that news.

But, on an indoor note... with our first Blog post in some time, we are here to follow up to Mark "Molly" Molloy's recent missive related to the upcoming AGM... this being our first event of the 2021  season.  In years gone by (not including 2020 - was that really a proper year?) this would have been held in the pub, and I think we are looking forward to the days when that will be possible again, but for now, we are doing this through Zoom, details for which are right below.

There are several formalities to get through but it's also a good way for club members to catch up with the committee and make suggestions for how the club should be run.  But big news this year is that we are going to be notifying all winners of the various awards for the 2020 season, including the coveted Clubman Award.  As Mark said, at some point we'll have a proper knee's up and hand out the physical awards, but in the meantime, an online ceremony is all we can do.
